Nicola’s Books in Ann Arbor welcomes authors Kathy Higgs-Coulthard, Gin Price, Lisa Wheeler, and Laura Wolfe.
Kathy Higgs-Coulthard-Saturday, December 3, 1pm-3pm
Kathy lives in a small farmhouse on the prairie in Southwestern Michigan with four kids, two dogs, one kitten, and a hedgehog. Kathy’s work has appeared in Jack & Jill Magazine, Women on Writing, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and Facts on File’s Encyclopedia of Great American Writers. Her debut novel, Hanging With My Peeps, came out in April, 2016.
Gin Price-Saturday, December 3, 1pm-3pm
Gin Price began writing stories in the sixth grade, though hopefully they’ve improved since then. She’s written in a few genres, but has crashed landed on young adult shelves where she hopes to remain. Currently she lives in the Metro Detroit area with her biologist partner-in-crime David, her three children, many reptiles and an ornery cat. She is the author of the young adult mystery On Edge: A Freerunner Mystery.
Lisa Wheeler-Saturday, December 3, 1pm-3pm
Award-winning author, Lisa Wheeler is passionate about children’s books. “I love everything about them, including the smell!” She’s written over 35 picture books in prose and rhyme, an easy reader series, three books of poems, and creative nonfiction for the very young. “As far back as I can remember, I’ve been a rhymer. Wordplay excites me!” Lisa lives in a rural part of southeast Michigan. She is the author of Dino Racing and The Christimas Boot. Check out her website at www.lisawheelerbooks.com
Laura Wolfe-Saturday, December 3, 1pm-3pm
When Laura Wolfe is not writing, she can be found playing games with her highly energetic kids, riding horses, growing vegetables in her garden, or spoiling her rescue dog. Laura’s YA mystery, Trail of Secrets (Book 1, Dark Horse Series), was named as a Finalist in the 2016 Next Generation Indie Book Awards—First Novel category. Visit Laura here.
